Reviews Overview

Most Liked

FoodCraft delights its patrons with gigantic portions of fish, each freshly fried to golden perfection. The homemade pies, especially the steak pie, are a crowd favorite, filled with tender beef and rich gravy. Regulars appreciate the occasional 2-for-1 offers that make dining even more tempting. The cheerful and attentive staff never fail to add a personal touch to the dining experience. Many locals can't resist the charm of the fruit pies that are packed with soft fruit, leaving everyone wanting more.

The relaxed dining atmosphere invites you to linger, enjoying the delicious food while taking in the seamless blend of local culture around you. With takeaway and delivery options available, enjoying a satisfying meal is always convenient.

Most Disliked

Some patrons feel that FoodCraft can be on the pricier side compared to other chippies, but this is often justified by the exceptional quality of the food. The 2-for-1 deals enjoyed by many may no longer be available, leading to some disappointment. Busy peak hours during the dinner rush on Fridays can mean longer wait times, which can be frustrating for those hungry for a quick bite. While the casual atmosphere suits many, those seeking a more formal dining experience might find it lacking.

A few have noted that mixed experiences can occur depending on the day or time of the week, suggesting that consistency could be improved.

This has to be the greatest chippy I'm Britain and that's saying a alot from a plasterer of 20 years. Iv traveled quite alot and had a few chippy teas 🤭🤣 but this is the best by far. Everything from their homemade pie or their gravy with bits of beef in it. Everything made fresh but doesn't take ages ! I would say compared to other chippies it's on the expensive side BUT it's more than worth it.
